About Us

The Wilson Amateur Radio Association was established in 1982 as a non-profit organization to provide VHF repeater communications for radio amateurs and is dedicated to community support as required during times of emergencies. In addition, we have included a variety of new technologies, bands, modes, and activities in an effort to reach out to all persons with an interest in amateur radio.

Among our objectives are the encouragment of courteous, professional use of our federally-allocated radio frequencies. In addition, we strive to promote amateur radio to the public, educating people on this unique hobby.
